Our youth obsessed, weight obsessed culture leaves us feeling ugly and unworthy. Most of us are on a mission to turn back the hands of time. It’s like staying alive longer has suddenly lost its appeal.
To evaporate fat, remove wrinkles and rid our thighs of cellulite we fill our grocery trolleys with diet foods, food substitutes, creams and potions. We lie about our age to remain attractive to men- who we are convinced only want younger women.
Nevertheless age happens. And all that time we spend trying to stop it only gives us less time to reap the benefits- actually enjoying life.
Being young is one thing, but healthy is beautiful at any age. Could you make a change for the better today in one of the 3 most important fitness areas – exercise, correct nutrition and rest?
The Bible says you are ‘fearfully and wonderfully made’. God created you to showpiece his glory, then paid the highest price imaginable to buy you back, so nobody can deny you belong to him. Therefore, honour God with your body.
