Something for the weekend

This weekend’s over but what about next weekend…

Sometimes it’s good to get away from it all and take a weekend break with friends or someone you have been building a relationship with. Here are 5 of our favourite Friends1st destinations for a weekend away.

A city with heritage. Bath’s streets twist and turn revealing it’s beautiful architecture and character. If you are looking for history there are the Roman Baths. If it’s relaxation try a day together at the Thermal Spa with its rooftop pool.

St. Ives

A classic British holiday destination. Beautiful beaches and walks to enjoy together, the Tate art gallery, and of course: great restaurants and independent stores.

The Big Smoke

London has infinite possibilities for a weekend away. Dinner 41 floors up at the Duck and Waffel, culture at the natural history museum, live music at the O2. Whatever you are interested in – even if it’s relaxation – you can find it in England’s capital.

The city or dreaming spires.

Oxford is a place of beauty, diversity and heritage. From the Ashmolian Museum and the high streets, to the college parks and punting – Oxford has a wide range of activities for visitors year round.

Shakespeare’s Town

If you are fans of the theatre and beautiful surroundings Stratford-upon-Avon is a must. And if you want a break from all things Shakespeare, Warwick Castle is a stones throw away.
